Team Stronger than Fearsome Offenses

Jujuy, Santa Fe, La Plata are all Argentine cities that play host to this year's Copa America. Uruguay presented a lukewarm debut against Peru but on the plus side Colombia ("mi patria querida") bested Costa Rica which happens to be the only other team apart from Chile that has had a victory so far. Chile impressed me with a disciplined approach, something that has stayed with the team even in the era after Bielsa. Making plays using the fundamentals--short passes and runs that connect and communicate. And someday, as was proved yesterday, it'll connect to a goal. Mexico scored first but Chile hit back twice!
